This position is responsible for administrative tasks related to recruiting and hiring for positions across the organization.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with managers at all levels to provide administrative support for recruitment efforts.
- Follow the Company’s recruiting and hiring policies, position posting, reviewing candidate resumes.
- Maintain oversight of overhead hiring spreadsheets, verifying requisition accuracy and alignment with organizational standards.
- Assist with the preparation of job descriptions, offer letters, background checks, pre-employment process and other recruitment documents as needed.
- Lead the implementation of special projects focused on optimizing recruitment processes and enhancing overall efficiency.
- Review requisitions to ensure accuracy and completeness, and post job openings on relevant platforms to attract qualified candidates.
- Manage administrative tasks for corporate overhead and construction recruiting, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations.
- Facilitate the movement of candidates through the applicant tracking system (ATS), assisting managers with navigating the platform, updating candidate statuses, and ensuring smooth progression throughout the recruitment process.
- Comply with all federal and state employment laws during all candidate and employee interactions.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
- One to three years of recruiting coordinator experience, focused on administrative responsibilities.
Skills/Specialized Knowledge
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable recruiting regulations including federal, state and city EEO and DOL laws required.
- Work within an Application Tracking System to post jobs and review resumes.
- Technically savvy with intermediate to advance skills in Microsoft Office.
- Experience using job boards to post positions and review candidates. Handshake experience a plus!
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills.
