What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper for Independent Living Units position at Mill Creek Senior Living Community?
Mill Creek Senior Living Community is looking for a professional individual to provide housekeeping in our 2-bedroom 1-bathroom Independent Living units.
Duties include:
- Perform the day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned.
- Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.
- Ensure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable and attractive manner.
- Clean/dust furnishing, fixtures, etc.,
- Clean, wash, sanitize bathroom fixtures. Ensure that water marks are removed from fixtures.
- Clean windows, mirrors in resident rooms & bathrooms.
- Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, etc.
- Clean carpets to include vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing and disinfecting.
- Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing, etc.
- Remove dirt, dust, grease, film etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
