Are you looking to take the next step in your construction career? Mill Plain Electric, located in Vancouver, WA seeks a motivated Entry-Level Estimator to join our team! This role is perfect for someone with at least one year of hands-on construction experience who wants to transition into estimating. No prior estimating experience is required as we will be providing the training.

We need a hardworking, detail-oriented individual with a basic understanding of construction who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to:
- Read a tape measure, blueprints, and basic construction documents.
- Work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Communicate effectively with team members and vendors.
- Be organized, reliable, and eager to learn new skills.
What You’ll Do
- Learn how to prepare accurate cost estimates for a variety of different construction projects
- Assist in review project plans and specification
- Assist with preparing takeoffs and quote requests
- Work closely with estimators and department coordinator
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- 1-year onsite construction experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to work well within a deadline-driven environment
Preferred Experience
- Hands on electrical experience
- Experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
