Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Mill Pond Health Campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to patient assessments in collaboration with Registered Nurses
- Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Perform routine lab tests and therapeutic services
- Provide education to patients and their families on treatment plans, self-care, and holistic health needs
- Identify safety hazards and emergency situations, taking corrective action as needed
Requirements:
- BLS Provider Certification within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- High school diploma or GED
