Job Summary: As Assistant General Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. Your primary focus will be on service excellence, private events, and ensuring seamless execution of our dining experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including service, food quality, and inventory management
- Focus on delivering exceptional service experiences, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, particularly in private events and catering
- Collaborate with the team to coordinate and execute private events, weddings, and corporate functions
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing service team, emphasizing excellent customer service and knowledge of our menu and offerings
- Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform operational decisions and drive business growth
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the restaurant
- Foster a positive, inclusive work environment, promoting employee engagement and retention
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a high-end or upscale casual environment
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve and New Years Day
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and employment laws
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred
