Job Summary: As Lead Bartender, you will play a key role in managing our beverage program, assisting with inventory management and ordering, and leading our bar team to deliver outstanding service and craft cocktails. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead our bar team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, ensuring prompt, friendly, and attentive service
- Assist with beverage inventory management and ordering, maintaining optimal stock levels and minimizing waste
- Develop and implement new cocktail menus and recipes, incorporating seasonal ingredients and trends
- Collaborate with our culinary team to pair cocktails with our menu offerings, enhancing the overall dining experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bar environment, adhering to health and safety standards
- Train and mentor new bartenders, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development
- Participate in wine, beer, and spirits training programs to enhance your knowledge and stay up-to-date on industry trends
- Work closely with our management team to achieve sales goals, drive revenue growth, and enhance our beverage program
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience as a bartender, preferably in a high-end or upscale casual environment
- Proven knowledge of classic cocktails, mixology techniques, and beverage trends
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train junior staff
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Certification in mixology, bartending, or a related field preferred (e.g., USBG, BarSmarts)
- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and beverage control systems
