Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and provide exceptional care to our furry guests. This role involves assisting with various tasks related to animal care and ensuring the well-being of the dogs in our facility.

Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas
- Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and administering medications to animals as needed
- Handle animals with care and ensure their safety and comfort
- Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and notifying when replenishment is needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in animal handling or care is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as necessary
- Knowledge of basic animal behavior and restraint techniques
- Experience in pet sitting, dog training, or veterinary assistance is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
