What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kindergarten teacher position at Mill River Unified Union School District?
Tinmouth Mountain School is looking for a kindergarten teacher who can focus on academics, build a community with students, and foster a sense of stewardship for the natural world. We are continuously evolving toward integrating our academics with the outdoors. Our curriculum resources include outdoor education opportunities, 4-Winds, Science of Reading(Bookworms), Eureka 2, and Mystery Science. We take pride in providing our school community with pollinator and vegetable gardens, as well as our winter sports program.
You will work with a supportive team that believes in child-centered, hands-on learning. We believe in restorative practices and responsive classrooms where the basic principles guide behavior management. A sense of humor is a plus!
