MRP is searching for passionate and agile Die cutting Operators who are problem-solvers and excited by challenges and the opportunity to build something great with us. As a Die Cutting Operator in the Production Department, you will be responsible for operating an advanced machine that cuts packaging shapes of varying sizes and shapes.

What will you do in this role?
- Set up all sections of die cutter, including the feed, die, counters, stripping and blanking sections.
- Perform quality checks in full compliance with all requirements of the quality system.
- Perform routine maintenance, machine cleaning, and preventative maintenance inspections of die cutters.
- Oversee the work throughput and quality of the Die Cutting Assistants assigned to your press machine.
This is a full-time, on-site position on 3rd shift . However, changes in manufacturing needs and schedules may necessitate a change to the original agreed upon hours, or the working of additional, overtime hours. Every effort will be made to give advance notice of any permanent changes.
Basic Requirements
- Possess an ability to work together as a Die Cutting Team and embrace how your job impacts the whole team. You are the person “behind the scenes” making it happen.
- Can accept feedback and use it to grow in your position.
- Must have basic computer skills or the ability to learn basic skills.
- Must learn to use a ruler for a high level of precision and to reduce errors in machine setup.
- Able to read and understand job instructions, including custom job requirements.
- Excellent endurance to stand and move about the work area all day.
The physical requirements and work environment:
Work exclusively in the production area, with light and heavy equipment where you stand and walk during your entire shift. Bending and reaching as needed. Exposed to elevated noise levels throughout work shift, hearing protection use is mandatory while in production area.
