Mill Rock Packaging (MRP), a growing U.S.- based packaging company and a market leader in the design, engineering and production of high-end, sustainable, and customized graphic paperboard, folding carton and commercial printing products. MRP serves customers in various industries including consumer staples, food and beverage, technology, pharmaceuticals, health, beauty and more.
We are currently hiring a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician at our Aurora, CO facility.
The pay for this position ranges from $30-$38/hr. DOE. Pay is based on a variety of complex factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The shift is: 9am-5pm, M-F.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance
- Technical understanding and skills with a focus on safety
- Familiarity and experience with motors, drives, contacts, relays, timers, PLC's, PC's.
- Printing/packaging equipment maintenance experience or related heavy industrial maintenance experience
- Understanding of control circuits, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ensure compliance with all Safety and Quality standards, processes, procedures
- Willingness to take initiative, learn new skills and help team members
- General computer skills such as the ability to navigate through program screens
- Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Awareness of OSHA standards for electrical safety
Knowledge/Abilities:
- Ability to perform electrical, mechanical and welding work as necessary
- Ability to read and understand wiring schematics, machine manuals, mechanical drawings and blueprints
- Ability to read and understand production specifications
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
- Ability to operate forklift and man-lift
- Must maintain excellent attendance reliability
- Willing to work overtime, as needed
Training/Education:
- Printing/packaging and manufacturing experience, a plus
- Associate degree or higher in Industrial Maintenance, Machining, or a related field experience preferred
- Demonstrated advanced training or certification in the maintenance mechanical/electrical industry
