Job Summary
Under the direction of the Site Principal, provide classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher, following the lesson plans / instructions provided. This role requires classroom management skills and flexibililty.
Requirements / Qualifications
REGISTRATION AND CLEARANCE AS A CERTIFICATED SUBSTITUTE WITH THE MARIN COUNTY OFFICE OF EDUCATION IS REQUIRED BEFORE PLACING AN APPLICATION WITH THE MILL VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT. THIS INCLUDES LIVE SCAN FINGERPRINTING, TB CLEARANCE, MANDATED EDUCATOR TRAININGS AND HOLDING A VALID CALIFORNIA TEACHING CREDENTIAL OR 30 DAY SUBSTITUTE PERMIT.
