Position Overview :
Millard South High School is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire and empower students in a variety of high school mathematics courses, contributing to our tradition of academic excellence.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective mathematics instruction aligned with Nebraska state standards and Millard Public Schools curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and critical thinking.
- Utilize diverse instructional strategies and technologies to meet the individual needs of all students.
- Assess student progress through a variety of methods, including tests, quizzes, projects, and classroom participation.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and progress.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and instruction.
- Contribute to the school community through involvement in extracurricular activities or clubs.
Qualifications :
All certificated jobs will be posted for at least one week. Depending on the size of the applicant pool, postings may be extended beyond a week. Building principals may start scheduling interviews before the posting end date, but no jobs will be offered until a job has been posted for one week.
