We are seeking a passionate and innovative Teacher Librarian to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year! Upchurch is a forward-thinking school that values creativity, collaboration, and student engagement. We take pride in our outside-the-box approach to education and are excited to launch a new STEM program this fall, making this an incredible opportunity to integrate literacy, technology, and STEM experiences into our learning environment.
We are looking for a dynamic educator who :
- Is eager to collaborate with teachers to support literacy and STEM integration.
- Can design engaging, standards-based media and technology lessons for K-5 students.
- Is excited to foster a love for reading, inquiry, and digital citizenship in students of all ages.
- Can support and enhance our new STEM program by incorporating research skills, problem-solving, and technology applications into library and media instruction.
- Is adaptable and ready to take on multiple roles within our innovative school setting.
Qualifications : Candidates must have completed or be actively working toward a Library Science / Media Specialist Master's Endorsement.
Application Process : All certificated positions will be posted for a minimum of one week. Depending on the applicant pool, postings may be extended. Building principals may start scheduling interviews before the posting end date, but no jobs will be offered until a job has been posted for one week.
