What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paint & Assembly Tech position at MILLAT INDUSTRIES?
The Paint Line Technician specializes in the painting and powder coating of finished parts.
*This position will start through as Staffing Agency for the first 90 Days.
Essential Job Functions
- Set-up, assemble and mask finished parts per the job setup sheets.
- Transports parts from masking to paint line and finishing stations.
- Inspects powder coated parts to determine pass or fail condition.
- Applies high temperature tape with precision to finished parts.
- Uses X-Acto knife and other tools to ensure parts are masked correctly and ready for finishing services.
- Hangs masked parts on finishing racks in preparation for power coating process.
- Communicates with co-workers, and team leader to receive instructions and coordinate activities.

- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods
- May lift up to 60 lbs. on occasion
- Constantly adheres to company safety policies
- Requires sound decision-making skills
- Reliable with an excellent attendance record
