Under the direction of the School Site Principal or designee, creates a safe and
welcoming care and learning environment for children ages 4-5 participating in Millbrae Elementary School District Transitional Kindergarten program. Assists the Transitional Kindergarten(TK) teacher in providing instruction and assistance to individual or small groups of students in all subject areas and a variety of settings; monitors and reports student progress; prepares materials; and assists children in daily routines.

MESD is a TK-8 district, operating five neighborhood schools: Green Hills Elementary, Lomita Park Elementary, Meadows Elementary, Spring Valley Elementary, and Taylor Middle School. All our schools have an active PTA/PTO supporting school-based programs. Our Millbrae Education Foundation (MEF) is a parent-led organization providing support for music, physical education and STEAM education for all five of our schools.
