Job Overview
This is a multifaceted position that focuses on wholesale wine sales in Dutchess County (restaurants and retail stores), assisting with the operation and sales in our Tasting Room as an Assistant Manager, and assisting in the day-to-day operations of the facilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Wholesale Sales Manager (60%)
- Market and sell our portfolio of wines to wholesale customers (retail stores and restaurants) within Dutchess County.
- Deliver wine to customers when necessary.
- Tasting Room Assistant Manager (30%)
- Assist the Marketing Director and Tasting Room Manager in creating monthly wine features and promotions.
- Help set up and execute special events for the Tasting Room.
- Perform wine tours and tastings for customers visiting the winery.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Tasting Room, restrooms, outdoor winery grounds, and office areas to ensure professionalism and high standards.
- Complete opening and closing duties for the Tasting Room.
- Operations Management (10%)
- Assist management with the hands-on running of facilities on a technical and operational basis.

- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.

Compensation Structure
The total compensation package for this position includes three main components: salary, sales commission, and an annual bonus. The estimated total compensation for 2025 will range from $50,000 to $75,000, depending on the candidate's relevant experience.
