HVAC Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning and ammonia refrigeration. This role requires the ability to read and interpret schematics, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot various HVAC systems. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems using diagnostic tools and schematics.
• Respond to service calls in a timely manner to address customer needs.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work activities.
• Collaborate with team members to complete larger projects efficiently.
• Drive company van to various job sites as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to build and maintain HVAC/R systems.
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; van driving experience preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Certification in HVAC or related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
