Large Animal Veterinary Technician/Assistant

At Mille Lacs Veterinary Clinic, our large animal practice has a dairy and beef base with a good-sized, growing equine and small ruminant clientele. Our Large Animal Haul-in facility allows us to serve large animal patients over a larger geographic area, perform surgery and general care in a clean, climate-controlled environment, facilitate emergency care and improve our on-call doctor's efficiency.

We’re seeking a motivated individual, to join our fun and engaging team as a full-time Large Animal Veterinary Technician or Assistant. This individual will assist the DVM with record keeping and animal handling. They should particularly have an ability and desire to handle sheep and goats. This individual can also anticipate handling cattle, horses, llamas and alpacas. There will be administrative and receptionist duties, as well as client communication and interactions.
