Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Office Clerk to manage and sort incoming and outgoing corporate mail and provide property operations support. The ideal candidate will ensure timely distribution of legal documents, maintain accurate records, support operations reporting and contribute to the efficient operation in a confidential and professional manner.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute incoming mail, prioritizing legal correspondence and time-sensitive documents for distribution to property operations and applicable recipients.
- Prepare, package, and process outgoing legal mail, ensuring compliance with delivery requirements (e.g., certified or registered mail).
- Support operations needs with tracking, reporting, routing, and distribution of documents and mail as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs and tracking records for all legal and operations documents and sensitive materials.
- Coordinate with delivery services (e.g., USPS, FedEx, UPS) for pickups and deliveries of correspondence.
- Communicate with internal departments regarding the receipt and distribution of mail and related operations inquiries.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive legal materials.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area with the handling of sensitive documents.
- Provide administrative support of reasonable accommodation housing request.
- Support other administrative tasks when assigned.
