Speech-Language Pathologist (Full-Time or 1099 Contractor (Open to Contractual Employment)

Plaza Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist SLP to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and interventions to patients in a subacute care setting, helping them to regain their communication skills and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
- Implement and document therapeutic interventions to support patient progress and rehabilitation goals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and occupational and physical therapists, to provide holistic care.
- Educate patients and families about communication disorders and rehabilitation techniques.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to team-based care discussions.
- Stay current with best practices and developments in speech-language pathology.
