Key Responsibilities|
Inventory Management
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or delivery documents.
- Unload, unpack, and sort merchandise or materials, ensuring accurate labeling and identification.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations, following proper storage procedures.
- Perform regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor to identify and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory.
- Retrieve items from inventory based on order requests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assemble and package products according to standard operating procedures.
- Operate machinery or equipment required for production
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and prioritize workload.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and perform quality checks on finished products.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools, following proper training and safety procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any malfunctions or damage.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries in the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including aisles, storage areas, and production stations.
- Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Participate in safety training programs and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or potential risks to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as receiving reports, production logs, batch cards and inventory records.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience in a warehouse or production environment.
- Preferably experience in manufacturing with food products.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects up to 100lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and performing production tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize workload.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and follow instructions.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and the ability to adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
