Senior Treasury Analyst

The Role

As part of our continuous growth and development, we are seeking a highly experienced Cash Management and Treasury Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in liquidity management and liquidity stress testing, with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment and execute on compliance matters. This role is critical in helping us develop and enhance our cash management and treasury function to better serve our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Treasury Operations
- Collaborate with operations and approve incoming and outgoing cash transfers, wire transfers, and funding activities.
• Monitor and analyze the company’s daily cash position to cover cash commitments and coordinate and optimize the short-term borrowing or investments, or assist in the execution of the daily cash management duties
- Lead and assist with treasury projects and initiatives
- Provide information in connection with the external and internal audits and monitors cash management activities to ensure compliance
- Work with company’s business units to prepare weekly cash forecasts and other cash and borrowing projection models; coordinate with teams to identify and mitigate forecasting variances
- Support corporate accounting, corporate tax, financial planning, internal audit and other functions as they relate to treasury transactions and entity structures
- Recommend and implement solutions to strengthen operational controls and incorporate best practices.
Liquidity Risk Management
- Monitor and manage daily cash flows, ensuring optimal liquidity positions.
- Implement liquidity stress testing procedures and scenarios to assess and mitigate risks.
- Identify and assess liquidity and market risks, proposing risk mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to the development of risk management policies and procedures
Reporting and Analysis
Prepare regular reports on liquidity positions, cash forecasts, and stress test results.
Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing cash management strategies.
Assist in preparation of FINRA/SEC regulatory reports
Accounting Support
- Monthly Reconciliations
- Assist in Month-End Close process
- Other Finance tasks as needed
Skills / Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field
- At least 2-5 years of industry experience in a self-clearing environment
- FINRA Series 7, 99, or 27 desired (or ability to obtain within required timeframes)
- Strong expertise in liquidity management and liquidity stress testing.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance matters.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong decision-making and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of FINRA rules and regulations
- Experience with Broadridge systems desired
