The business has evolved from strictly aerospace engineering to a full scale vertically integrated manufacturer of general aviation seats and interiors.
As an established provider of interiors and seats, Millennium Concepts, Inc. is an FAA TSO/ETSO holder for cabin and crew seating systems and holds FAA and foreign supplemental type certificates (STC) and Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) authorizations.
Bags and de-bags composite panels using pre-preg fabrics onto a mold using hand held tools, then applying heat with a temperature controlled heat gun to deflate the material, and vacuum bagging the parts for cure ; maintains neat and orderly shop. Works under the direct supervision of Composite Supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function and assigned duty satisfactorily. 1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to two years previous related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
2. Proficient knowledge of and be able to operate the software and equipment used in the department. Software includes but is not limited to Microsoft Word. Computer skills must include ability to type and manage files.
3. Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
4. Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.
5. Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner and to develop and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers and supervisor.
6. Strong attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy.
7. Exhibits dependability, including following instructions; responding to supervisor’s direction; and taking responsibility for own actions.
