As an established provider of interiors and seats, Millennium Concepts is an FAA TSO/ETSO holder for cabin and crew seating systems and holds FAA and foreign supplemental type certificates (STC) and Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) authorizations.
Job Summary: Plans the fabrication and assembly of parts, test articles, and tools under the direction of the assigned supervisor. Assists in implementing the MRP system to its full potential in support of fabrication, inspection, inventory, and procurement processes.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Creates, issues, and tracks work orders in support of manufacturing, including procedures.
- Utilizes the MRP system to identify shortages and generate/update work orders accordingly.
- Acts as a liaison between engineering and manufacturing.
- Coordinates purchase requirements of parts/material with procurement.
- Coordinates inventory issues with stockroom.
- Reviews engineering drawings and specifications prior to release and generate work orders after release.
- Coordinates with production and engineering change requests and non-conformance issues., including rework work orders
- Maintains cleanliness in work area.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Manufacturing experience required, Metal shop experience preferred
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum of one year previous related experience preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of and be able to operate the software and equipment used in the department.
- Ability to fully comprehend and interpret engineering blue prints in a manner that will allow the creation of work orders with precise fabrication and inspection instructions.
- Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner and to develop and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers and supervisor.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy.
- Exhibits dependability, including following instructions; responding to supervisor’s direction; and taking responsibility for own actions.
- Ability to take initiative, including asking for and offering help when needed; performs work independently without being prompted.
- Ability to prioritize and plan work activities; use time efficiently; and work within deadlines.
- Must maintain high level of integrity and not allow persuasion from any faction to sway from appropriate procedures.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding and mechanical thought processes to carry out assigned tasks. Ability to react to problems and challenges which yield positive results while preserving engineering, certification, and manufacturing requirements.
- Proficient knowledge of and the ability to operate the software and equipment used in the department. Software includes but is not limited to Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and various Work and Material Planning software.
- Equipment includes but is not limited to computer work stations, scanners, printers, and fax machines. Computer skills must include ability to type and manage files
