Position Overview:
Millennium Control Systems is seeking a Project Manager with an industrial background. The project manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing a project from start to finish. Throughout the project, the manager monitors progress, communicates with stakeholders, and ensures the project stays within scope, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine and define project scope and objectives
- Work with planning to coordinate scheduling based on the as-sold milestones of the project
- Prepare budget to track planned versus actual cost for project auditing
- Communicate with the assigned team members throughout the complete lifecyle of the project
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Monitor progress and adjust as needed
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
What we need you to have:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong computer skills with competency in such software as MS Office, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Access, and OneNote
- Previous experience in cooperating with Project Managers for the delivery of projects
- Ability to learn new tasks and software
- Detail oriented, organized, highly motivated with a positive attitude
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Outgoing, personable, and professional demeanor
- Engineering or Technical background in an Industrial Environment preferred – will train to job specifics
What we’d love you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field
- PMP certification

- Hybrid Position - Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 4 days per week and 1 day remote.
