Responsibilities
Millennium Corporation is hiring a Cloud Architect to work onsite in Ft Belvoir, VA. The candidate must have an active secret clearance.
- Responsible for engineering, building, testing, and deployment of cloud service offerings for new and existing cloud architectures.
- Develops architecture products including technical architecture, business architecture, strategic planning, and business process design.
- Participates in high-level enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development.
- Applies high-level business and technical principles and methods to difficult technical problems to arrive at creative engineering solutions.
- Adept at migrating systems to a cloud architecture from disparate platforms and utilizing a wide range of tools to implement/re-implement systems in a cloud architecture.
Related tasks include:
- Provides cloud architectural expertise to management and technical staff.
- Develops cloud architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines.
- Develops cloud system strategy and infrastructure design to support the strategy.
- Advises on selection of cloud technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and application requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidate must have an active secret clearance.
Bachelor Degree and 7 Years of relevant experience.
- Experience with cloud, cloud services and cloud architecture.
Business Development
Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.
Physical Requirements
- Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
