Responsibilities
Millennium Corporation is hiring a Lead Test Analyst to work remotely within the National Capital Region. Qualified candidates must have an active Secret clearance.
- Actively participate and support Test-driven development (TDD) practices within the team
- Work with Angular, React, Java, JUnit, Cypress, Cucumber, or other relevant technologies
- Perform testing at all levels, including Unit, Integration, End-to-End, Load, User Acceptance, and Performance testing.
- Use JIRA to manage user stories, bug tracking, and update ticket status with detailed information.
- Perform testing on Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) items.
- Create and maintain documentation using Atlassian Confluence.
- Collaborate closely with the development and cybersecurity teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software
- Translate requirements into effective test strategies, plans, and automated test suits
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the development lifecycle
Qualifications
- Have an active secret clearance.
- At least 5 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a relevant discipline
- Have a strong understanding of test-driven development principles
- Prior experience in building and maintaining robust test automation frameworks
- Experience and ability to translate requirements into test cases and automated test scripts.
- Extensive experience with various testing methodologies and tools (JUnit, Cypress, Cucumber, etc.).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and quality assurance processes.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Familiarity with all levels of testing (Unit, Integration, End-to-End, Load, and Performance).
- Experience coordinating with security teams on testing related to POA&Ms.
Preferred Qualifications
- DAWIA or International Software Testing Qualifications (ISTQB) certification
- Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and platforms such as VMware Tanzu, GitLab, or Concourse
Business Development
- Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.
Physical Requirements
- Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
