Job Description:
The Group Fitness Instructor - Instructor will be responsible for leading group fitness classes for members of the fitness center and active duty. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching fitness classes for all levels and hold a specialty certification for Cycling, Kickboxing, or other specialty class format. The instructor will be responsible for creating and leading engaging and challenging classes that motivate and inspire members to achieve their fitness goals. The instructor must have a high level of energy and enthusiasm to keep members engaged and motivated throughout the class.
The Group Fitness Instructor - Instructor will be responsible for the following:
- Leading specialty / cycling classes for participants and active duty members
- Creating and leading engaging and challenging classes
- Motivating and inspiring members to achieve their fitness goals
- Ensuring the safety of all participants during the class
- Providing modifications and adjustments to accommodate all fitness levels
- Continuing education to stay up-to-date on the latest group fitness techniques and trends
- Group Fitness certification from NCCA accredited provider and/or Cycling certification required
- American Red Cross or AHA CPR AED First Aid certified
