The Lakefront, Anchorage hotel (formerly the Millennium Hotel) is recruiting for part time, Laundry Attendant/Expeditor to join our team. The role of the Laundry Attendant/Expeditor is responsible for maintaining, organizing and stocking housekeeping closets with clean laundry.

The role of the Laundry Attendant/Expeditor is responsible for maintaining, organizing and stocking housekeeping closets with clean laundry.
Typical Duties include:
- Receive linen, wash and dry linen, fold and forward to closets for room attendants etc.
- Clean up machines and surrounding area.
- Deliver clean sheets, towels, pillowcases, blankets, spreads, bedspreads, etc.to guests and co-workers.
- Respond to Housekeeping requests for assistance, direction, and other information.
- Work as a productive team member by contributing positive energy.
- Perform the duties of the position in a safe manner.
- Treat all individuals with respect.
- Must be reliable, adaptable and dependable.
- Maintains regular attendance.
- Ability to communicate effectively with housekeeping staff as to the status of the laundry.
- Ability to push and/or pull wheeled racks and carts weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skill, and ability.
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
