Operations Control SpecialistJob Function Summary Primary responsibilities will be around daily risk evaluation and control of Global Ops & Middle Office teams. Will include related project work, as needed.The Ops Control Group is also responsible for Access & Entitlements Control, Manager Attestations & Signoffs, SSI Approvals, Corporate Actions & Recon Oversight, Account & Entity Reference Data, as well as Vendor Governance. The candidate will be expected to participate in these functions and related initiatives.Principal ResponsibilitiesSupport / Maintenance of Account & Entity Reference DataReview and approve new standard settlement instructions, including call backsManage the application access and entitlement recertification processMonitor Key Risk & Performance Indicators through daily break & exception toolsWork with the respective managers of the impacted areas to address potential riskIdentify areas for improvement and work with individual groups to implement solutionsIdentify new ways to detect and manage risk (i.e. new metrics & reports, process surveillance mechanisms, etc.)Potential to contribute to, or lead, various projects that may arise out of the aforementioned activitiesWill support all product types (but not required to have grasp of all)Qualifications / Skills RequiredMinimum 2 years of experience. Operations or Middle Office experience a plusKnowledge of Core Ops (Asset Servicing, Settlements, Reconciliations, etc.) a plusThorough, with strong ownership of workIndependent thinker & workerStrong communication and interpersonal skillsGood team player with willingness to participate and help othersMillennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $160,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package
