We are looking for an experienced and motivated Collaboration Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining collaboration solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation in collaboration technologies covering email, messaging, file sharing, and mobility. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of collaboration tools and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership : Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of collaboration engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Strategy Development : Define and execute the strategy for collaboration technologies, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives and IT roadmap
• Security and Compliance : Ensure that all collaboration solutions comply with security policies and regulatory requirements
• Project Management : Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of collaboration projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget
• Technical Expertise : Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team, ensuring best practices are followed in the design, implementation, and maintenance of collaboration solutions
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with other departments, including IT, HR, Compliance, InfoSec and Operations, to understand their collaboration needs and ensure effective integration of solutions
• Vendor Management : Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services and stay current with the market
• Performance Monitoring : Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of collaboration solutions and identify areas for improvement
• Innovation and Improvement : Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in collaboration tools and platforms, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
• Documentation and Training : Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for collaboration solutions and provide training to end-users and support teams as needed.
• Metrics and Reporting : Define KPIs to measure performance, consumption, availability, issue trending, and more

Qualifications / Skills Required

The estimated base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
