Collaboration Engineering Manager
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Collaboration Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining collaboration solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation in collaboration technologies covering email, messaging, file sharing, and mobility. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of collaboration tools and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership : Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of collaboration engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Strategy Development : Define and execute the strategy for collaboration technologies, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives and IT roadmap
- Security and Compliance : Ensure that all collaboration solutions comply with security policies and regulatory requirements
- Project Management : Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of collaboration projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget
- Technical Expertise : Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team, ensuring best practices are followed in the design, implementation, and maintenance of collaboration solutions
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with other departments, including IT, HR, Compliance, InfoSec and Operations, to understand their collaboration needs and ensure effective integration of solutions
- Vendor Management : Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services and stay current with the market
- Performance Monitoring : Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of collaboration solutions and identify areas for improvement
- Innovation and Improvement : Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in collaboration tools and platforms, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
- Documentation and Training : Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for collaboration solutions and provide training to end-users and support teams as needed.
- Metrics and Reporting : Define KPIs to measure performance, consumption, availability, issue trending, and more
Qualifications / Skills Required
The estimated base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
