Job Description
We are seeking an individual with strong quantitative skills, the ability to tackle complex problems in a fast-paced environment, and a results-oriented, proactive approach to engaging with counterparts. The primary responsibility is to work within a team to develop, improve, and maintain liquidity models across various asset classes.
Responsibilities:
- Product Coverage: Multi-asset (Fixed Income, Equities, Crypto, Converts, Derivatives, Mortgages)
- Liquidity Modeling: Collaborate with senior team members within Treasury, Risk, and Trading Desks to develop and calibrate liquidity models for the various products traded by the firm.
- Model Ownership: Take full ownership of the liquidity models, proactively review assumptions, and recalibrate the models as needed. Ensure the necessary suite of tools is available to conduct ad-hoc analysis.
- Communication: Effectively communicate results and their implications to internal stakeholders.
- Prime Broker Collaboration: Work with Prime Brokers to continually enhance margin models and agreements as our portfolios evolve.
Qualifications:
- 5 years in a quantitative role within a financial organization, ideally in a front office risk role at a Prime Broker.
- Degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related discipline. An advanced degree in a quantitative field is preferred.
- Proficiency in phyton is required.
- Familiarity with margin frameworks used by Prime Brokers, Exchanges, and Clearing Houses, as well as stress testing and tail-based risk models.
Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package
