Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Quality Control: Compile, process, and verify geological and geophysical data with meticulous attention to accuracy.
• Mapping & Reporting: Assist in preparing well logs, cross-sections, contour maps, and technical reports, ensuring all documentation is thorough and precise.
• Support Exploration & Development: Provide technical assistance to geologists and engineers by organizing and presenting data relevant to field operations and new drilling prospects.
• Database Management: Maintain and update geological databases, ensuring consistency and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Process Compliance: Adhere to established protocols and assist in refining procedures to improve efficiency without compromising data integrity.
• Adaptability & Deadline Management: Handle time-sensitive tasks and shifting project priorities while maintaining accuracy and focus.

Qualifications

• 0 - 2 years of experience in a geological technician, geotech, or similar technical support role within the oil & gas sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related discipline preferred but not required.
• Excellent organizational skills and a strong commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
