Clinical Team Leader, CMA or LPN 315 E. Olympia

Millennium Physician Group is seeking to hire a full-time LPN/CMA Clinical Team Lead in the Punta Gorda, FL area. We are looking for a new team member who is positive, energetic, well-organized, has the ability to multi-task, and think outside of the box. We want someone who supports our top initiative of ensuring an excellent patient experience!

The Clinical Team Leader communicates and trains all clinical personnel in the practice of appropriate and efficient care of the patient. S/he is responsible for the training of all clinical staff members in best practice scheduling of ordered ancillary services, with time sensitive follow up to ensure studies have been obtained prior to the patients follow up appt.

The Clinical Team Leader will routinely conduct maintenance reviews with assigned clinical staff members, and be available to them both in person and by email. This will enable him/her to monitor staff for production and professionalism on a daily basis.

The Clinical Team Leader will be responsible for helping keep the costs down relative to clinical supplies as dictated by the practice manager. S/He will be responsible for the productivity of the clinical staff, and will have the ability to comprise/suggest additional training tools for the advancement of the above initiatives, if approved by the Practice Manager.

Required Knowledge and Experience

Active practical nursing license and 3 years of LPN related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LPN license required. Must maintain certification/license active and in good standing during employment.

Required Skills and Abilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems; Athena knowledge preferred but not required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb and balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
