Primary Care Home Visit Services - CMA
Full Time (Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM)
Charlotte County, FL
Millennium Physician Group is seeking to hire a full-time / Certified Medical Assistant to join the Primary Care Home Visit team. We are looking for a new team member who is positive, energetic, well-organized, can multi-task, and think outside of the box. We want someone who supports our top initiative of ensuring an excellent patient experience!
As a Home Visit Certified Medical Assistant, some of the ways you will be directly involved in the care for our patients is by:
- Assisting in the examination of patients under the direction of the Home Health APRN including, measuring vitals and recording in the patient chart
- Performing venipunctures and collecting routine lab specimens
- Performing patient callbacks
- Giving injections or treatments as instructed by APRN
- Scheduling/confirming appointments
This position requires flexibility in schedule and travel for in-home patient visits.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Completed a Medical Assisting Program/Completion of Certification or Registration
- CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to type at minimum 40 WPM
- All certification received, e.g. CMA, CPR, BLS, etc. must be kept current
