The Regional Vice President (RVP) oversees regional operations of MPG and is responsible for continuous quality improvement in operational fundamentals, i.e. schedule optimization management, quality patient care, operational functions, and employee and physician engagement. The RVP manages business growth through healthcare reform and company expansion, maximizing patient outcomes, growth and profitability. Serving as a respected leader, the RVP will build strong relationships with physicians and staff alike. The RVP coordinates the transformation of the business from pay for volume to pay for value by providing better care for our patients (quality and patient experience); better health for our population of patients and lower costs through improvement. The RVP is responsible to train, monitor and provide complete operational oversite and support to the Practice Leadership in assuring practices within their region meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) including quality and patient engagement objectives, revenue & margin goals, ensure customer service excellence and provide quality patient care. This position reports to the President, Florida Market.
Leadership :
- Directl y supervises Practice Managers and indirectly oversees Practice Supervisors, clinical and clerical support staff in all practices within the region. Supports medical directors and other Millennium physician leaders in the leadership of physicians and advanced providers; coordinating administrative support of the advanced providers with practice leadership.
- Oversees the Practice Managers in their duties of personnel management, quality management, finance, reimbursement, appropriate coding and documentation and assists as necessary in areas including, but not limited to, budget development and monitoring, time of service collections and receivables, and implementation of policies, procedures, standards and guidelines necessary for effective and efficient center operations.
- Directs, develops, and utilizes administrative skills to implement systems and best practices that enable the practices to function most effectively and efficiently.
- Communicates and supports MPG's mission, vision and core values, executing the company strategy within their region.
- Works closely with the region's Value Based Director in promoting the quality and value of patient-focused health services and the shift to risk-based contracting in support of Medicare and Commercial ACO's, MA Health Plans and other new models of care.
- Communicates provider and practice needs, plans and priorities to the organization. Works in conjunction with corporate staff to maintain productive, collaborative relationships with practice physicians and advanced providers.
