What You Will Do
- Collaborate across departments to gather project requirements and develop detailed printing project plans
- Create comprehensive timelines and resource allocation strategies for each project
- Coordinate with production managers to optimize scheduling and resource utilization
- Analyze project specifications to develop accurate cost estimates
- Utilize pricing databases and historical data to create precise quotations
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for clients that ensure transparency
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments to maintain deadlines
- Identify potential bottlenecks and implement solutions before they impact timelines
- Serve as the central point of contact between sales, production, and customer service teams
What You Will Bring Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in print production planning or similar role
- Previous experience with project management and cost estimation
- Background in printing or graphic arts industry preferred
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills for developing accurate cost estimates
- Proficient in project management software and estimation tools
- Excellent understanding of printing processes and production requirements
- Strong mathematical aptitude for cost calculations and budget planning
- Ability to read and interpret complex printing specifications
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities
- Effective time management and prioritization skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address scheduling conflicts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for cost analysis
- Experience with print management information systems (MIS)
