- Job Title: Inventory Reconciliation Associate
- Job Summary: Oversees the reconciliation and categorization of materials at the end of production jobs, ensuring accurate inventory records. This role involves managing material movement, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Job Hours: M-F 7:00am - 3:30pm
What You'll Do
- Material Reconciliation Management: Oversee the routing and processing of materials from completed jobs to the designated End of Job (EOJ) processing area.
- Material Handling and Reporting: Process materials based on classification and complete necessary paperwork.
- Inventory Adjustment & Management: Adjust inventory records in the Warehouse Management System, reflecting accurate stock levels and locations. Coordinate the transfer of unused inventory to other warehouse locations and update WMS accordingly.
- Disposition of Discarded Materials: Oversee the creation of EOJ Discard Flags for materials to be discarded, including relevant information like job number, item number, and discard date. Ensure that discarded materials are placed in designated areas until the discard date.
- Team Collaboration & Supervision: Collaborate with Team Leads and Supervisors to ensure clear communication of job status and material handling procedures. Guide team members on how to process EOJ materials effectively.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain up-to-date records of EOJ activities and ensure that relevant forms are filled out and stored properly, retaining them for three years as per company policy.
- Material Handling and Transportation: Supervise the movement of materials within the warehouse, ensuring proper tracking and storage. Work with forklift operators to ensure smooth material movement and proper disposal of discarded materials.
What You'll Bring
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in warehouse management, material handling, or inventory control.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Microsoft Excel, email, and intranet systems for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Skills: Strong customer service, detail orientation, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

What to Expect in the Workplace
- Physical Demands: Perform tasks such as carrying, lifting, bending, and standing for long periods. You may need to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50 pounds occasionally, and up to 25 pounds frequently.
- Work Environment: Primarily in a manufacturing plant with temperature extremes, moderate noise levels, and moving equipment. Work indoors and outdoors in varied weather conditions (heat, cold, wet, and dry).
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): You will be required to wear PPE, such as ear protection, eye protection, safety shoes, and a high-visibility vest, as necessary.
- Frequent Movement: Use of hands, arms, and wrists in controlled movements. Walking between work areas and using electronic devices and office equipment will be part of your day-to-day tasks.
