Komori Offset Sheetfed Press Operator | Raleigh, NC
Are you a seasoned Offset Sheetfed Press Operator with a passion for precision and a love for high-quality printing? Join Millennium Print Group, the world's largest producer of trading cards, where your expertise will shine as you bring iconic designs to life.
What You'll Do
- Operate State-of-the-Art Equipment: Work with advanced Komori LS and GL series Offset Sheetfed Presses (6-color and 8-color) to produce stunning trading cards.
- Maximize Efficiency: Handle machine make-readys, reach run speed targets, and exceed customer expectations for quality and productivity.
- Ensure Top-Notch Quality: Monitor product standards, minimize waste, and ensure each print run meets rigorous quality standards.
- Apply Color Expertise: Utilize G7 color theory techniques, including LAB values, gray balance, and ink trap, to deliver vibrant and precise prints.
- Record & Maintain: Keep accurate records of materials and time while ensuring proper maintenance of equipment.
- Problem Solve & Innovate: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, perform routine maintenance, and keep the press running smoothly.
- Stay Safe & Strong: Follow safety procedures and occasionally lift, push, or carry up to 60 pounds.
- Collaborate & Contribute: Be a key team member ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
What You'll Bring
- Experience Matters: 10 years in offset (sheetfed) printing, with expertise in tight tolerances and color accuracy for industries like pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or credit card printing.
- Komori or KBA Proficiency: Hands-on experience with 40" (or greater) multicolor offset presses (6,8,12 units), preferably Komori or KBA models.
- Color Knowledge: Strong understanding of LAB values, ink adjustments, and branded color compliance.
- Technical Know-How: Experience with G7 color theory, UV technology (specialty coatings e.g. MotionCoat™), and troubleshooting press equipment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
