We are looking for an Irrigation Technician.
- Proficiency in Landscape Irrigation Systems, tools, and techniques.

- 2-year experience performing Irrigation Maintenance and related tasks.

- Using upper and lower body to work in various positions including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting, and walking for extended periods of time.
- Reaching over head with hands and arm to hold, climb or balance.
- Using hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Required experience: Landscaping Irrigation: 2 year.
Responsibilities
- Position type: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with variable hours, beginning at 7:00am.
- Occasional weekend and work over 40 hours as needed.
- Reports to: Account Manager.
- Summary: The primary purpose of the Irrigation Technician is to perform Landscape Irrigation Maintenance & Repair Tasks in a safe manner in accordance with our high quality customer service standards.
- Perform assigned property service contract requirements in a timely manner with minimal supervision daily.
- Adjust sprinkler heads and water flow to ensure proper coverage and efficient water usage.
- Troubleshoot and repair components of the irrigation system.
- Meet or exceed company maintenance production standards.
- Promote a safe work environment.
- Thoroughly understand and comply with company policy and safety manual; report and document any / all unsafe conditions or accidents.
- Properly and safely use basic power tools and hand tools commonly used in irrigation system maintenance.
- Interact with clients, Account Manager(s), and Subcontractors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Able to train others on the job as needed and maintain a high level of morale.
- Work all assigned hours, including weekend and overtime hours as necessary.
- Fully perform start-up inspections of the irrigation system to include clock maintenance, backflow, zones, heads, valves, and rain sensors.
- Fully perform system shutdowns of irrigation systems including hooking up air compressors and blowing the lines out, winterizing the backflow, and unplugging the clock and or turning off a water pump.
- Perform basic troubleshooting techniques and make on-site repairs as necessary.
- Always maintain proper irrigation parts on the vehicle.
- Perform property inspections, complete and process proper forms in their entirety before leaving the job site.
- Effectively communicate work order and system status to the department head, account manager, and any other parties that require information about the system and property.
- Complete daily paperwork as required by each job, including tracking.
- Perform regular safety inspections on the vehicle.
- Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be subjected to strenuous work in adverse weather conditions, as well as exposure to dirt, water, chemicals, noise, etc.
