Position Overview
The Millennium Soccer Club Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the youth soccer club throughout the year. This includes managing communications, registrations, scheduling, materials management, and overseeing on-site operations to ensure smooth execution of all soccer sessions, events, and programs. The Manager will work closely with the Board, Site Managers, Coaching Coordinators, and volunteers to maintain a high standard of operations and provide an excellent experience for players and families.
Ongoing Duties:
- Board Meeting Attendance: Attend all Board meetings and contribute to the planning and decision-making processes.
- Communication Management: Manage the club’s communications with players and families. Check and respond to the MSC Gmail account at least twice a week to ensure inquiries are addressed and information is shared in a timely manner.
- Postal Services: Check the club's PO Box once a week and manage any incoming mail.
- Monthly Reporting: Submit hours worked and transportation details monthly.
- Documentation Management: Regularly update and distribute fliers, registration forms, and any other promotional or administrative materials.
- Materials Management: Keep track of inventory, order equipment and supplies, and keep the storage unit organized.
- Donation Management: Deposit all received donations promptly and ensure proper documentation of deposits.
- Website Management: Regularly update and maintain SportsEngine website and registration forms, and track participant data on Sports Engine.
- Field Management: Reserve field space and make sure fields are ready for the season.
- Community Outreach: Connect with and distribute registration materials to schools, clubs, and organizations.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
- Proficient in Google Suite and Sports Engine or similar registration software.
- Passion for youth sports and community engagement, and a commitment to providing all children the opportunity to succeed in the game of soccer.
- Must be 18 or older with a valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation necessary for work duties. Criminal background check and completion of Safe Sport Training required upon hire.
Physical Demands
- Ability to be present on-site for all soccer sessions and events, typically requiring standing, walking, and occasional physical activity.
- Ability to lift boxes of materials (up to 25 lbs) for inventory or event preparation.
