Packager/Assembler

Job Title: Packager

Location: Holdrege, NE 68949

Duration: 1 Year Contract

Pay Rate: $18.50/Hour on W2 without Medical Benefits

Shift Schedule: 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM EST - 12 Hours Rotating Day Shift (C Shift)

Interview Process: In-person Interview/Tour (This is Required)

Essential Responsibilities (included but are not limited to):

• Follow all company safety rules, regulations, and job safety analysis
• Must complete plant lock out procedures and key interrupt
• Fill and operate shelf carton erector and clear minor jams
• Responsible for quality of product including but not limited to
• Discarding obviously defective packages, removing, and saving syringes.
• Checking packaging for correct count
• Checking for damage to syringe
• Inserting brochures as required
• Palletizing finished product and attaching proper pallet card
• Operating semi-auto tape machine
• Performing minor duties not requiring mechanic attention

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• High school Diploma or GED
• Read, write, and speak English

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Good hand-eye coordination and repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movement
• Keep work area clean
• Regular attendance
• Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader and required to support the needs of the business

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $18.01 - $18.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Experience:

• Packaging: 1 year (Preferred)
• Assembly: 1 year (Preferred)
