Pilates Instructor & Assistant Fitness Director
Millennium Family Fitness (MFF) is seeking a Full-Time Certified Pilates Instructor / Assistant Fitness Director to join our team. This position primarily focuses on leading our Pilates program, with additional responsibilities supporting the overall fitness department. We are looking for a highly motivated, certified Pilates professional who is passionate about helping members achieve their fitness goals through personalized instruction and group classes.
Key Responsibilities
Pilates Instructor (Primary Role)
· Lead dynamic and effective Pilates classes (Mat and/or Reformer) for individuals and groups of varying skill levels.
· Design and implement personalized Pilates training programs tailored to clients’ needs.
· Educate members on proper form, technique, and breathing methods to ensure safe and effective workouts.
· Modify exercises as needed to accommodate injuries, limitations, or fitness levels.
· Stay current with Pilates trends and best practices to continuously enhance programming.
Assistant Fitness Director (Secondary Role)
· Assist in daily operations of the fitness department, ensuring a high standard of service and member satisfaction.
· Support the Fitness Director in developing, implementing, and evaluating fitness programs.
· Provide leadership and guidance to trainers, instructors, and fitness staff to maintain a cohesive team.
· Help coordinate staff scheduling, special fitness events, and member engagement initiatives.
· Monitor and manage equipment maintenance and inventory.
· Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming fitness environment.
Qualifications
· Pilates Certification (Mat and/or Reformer) from a recognized organization (Required)
· Additional fitness certifications (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NSCA, NSPA) (Required)
· Minimum of one-year experience teaching Pilates in a studio, gym, or club setting (Required)
· College degree in Physical Education or related field (Preferred)
· Minimum of one-year supervisory experience in a health or fitness facility (Preferred)
· Current CPR, First Aid, and safety certifications
· Strong ability to demonstrate and modify exercises for various fitness levels
· Must be able to lift 45-pound weight plates
· Excellent customer service and communication skills
· Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: $36,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
