This enables us to continuously improve our day-to-day activities, and ultimately the firm as a whole.Job Description: Content AnalystOur Content Solutions team is the central resource for our fundamental investment professionals to gain intelligence and access to external data and research providers. We are looking to add a dynamic and driven Content Analyst to our team. You will have the opportunity to build 1x1 relationships with the investment professionals and develop expertise on the content in your coverage area. You will discover new content, formulate a view, and advise our investment professionals on the products they evaluate and put to use. You will develop strategic relationships with content providers and seek to deliver optimal economics and best-in-class access for the firm. You will help to drive the constant evolution of the Content Solutions team as the firm grows and contribute creative ideas on delivering our expertise and high quality service at scale.

Responsibilities

• Build 1x1 relationships with investment professionals under your coverage, support their research process, and act as an extension of their team
• Develop a personal brand as the subject matter expert in your coverage area for content, including alternative data and independent research
• Discover new content not already used at the firm, perform a qualitative evaluation, and develop a view
• Stay well-informed of relevant industry developments and product roadmaps of content providers in your coverage area
• Proactively introduce new content to relevant investment professionals and explain its application to the research and investment processes via written work and verbal presentation
• Generate access to new content for our investment professionals, collect feedback, and establish strategic relationships with new content providers based on demand
• Negotiate commercial and business terms with new content providers to achieve the best pricing and position for scale
• Develop high value relationships with key internal partners, including business management, data science and engineering, legal, and compliance
• Ensure timely delivery of day-to-day requests for content to our investment professionals
• Onboard new investment professionals to the platform and market the platform to prospective IPs
• Drive our investment professionals’ adoption of internal tools, seek their feedback, and contribute your own ideas toward product development
  
  

Qualifications/Skills Required

• 2-5 years of professional experience ideally in data and/or research
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Analytical, methodical, and structured approach with strong attention to detail
• Excellent organization and time management skills to manage high volumes of work
• Intellectually curious and creative person seeking constant challenge and improvement
• Ability to handle pressure and energized high performance work cultures

The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $160,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
