Position : Labor atory Technician
Location : San Jose, CA
Duration : 12 Months Contract
Total Hours / week : 40.00
1st Shift 8am to 4pm
Education and experience :
- BS in Biology or related discipline
- Minimum 1 year experience in a GMP or GLP environment
Job Summary :
Duties and Responsibilities :
Responsible for performing laboratory maintenance for multiple laboratories following good laboratory procedures including operation of a clean and efficient laboratory, documenting all work, such as, but not limited to :
1. Change refrigerator chart recorder paper
2. Monitor temperature of small refrigerators and freezers
3. Empty laboratory recycle bins
4. Organize and stock lab supplies within the labs and stockrooms
5. Biohazard waste maintenance
6. Maintains glassware by pick-ups, cleaning, washing and distributing
7. Performs DI water daily flushes
8. Monitoring the stock level of Sheath and Shutdown solutions
9. Responsible for delivery, set-up, and pickup of lab equipment, lab materials and office supplies
10. Performs other related duties and assignments as required
