Description:
The Lube Technician plays an extremely important role in customer satisfaction and the overall continued
success of Miller Auto. The position is utilizing education and experience to complete light
maintenance work on vehicles.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Partner and communicate with department employees as necessary.
Complete oil changes, tire rotates, flushes, etc.
Repair broken or worn mechanical components.
Maintain repair and service records.
Install equipment, components and systems.
Repair electrical wiring, circuits and fixtures.
Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect repair operations, such as
hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc. Comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to
hazardous materials.
Maintain and execute health and safety guidelines, policies and procedures at all times. Including, but not
limited to company expectations, state and federal laws, OSHA, Red Flags, Privacy and OFAC.
Maintain and wear all required safety and health personal protective equipment in the manner recommended
by the equipment manufacturer.
Other duties as deemed necessary by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be presentable and professional appearing at all times
Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent required
Automotive education preferred
2-3 years applicable experience preferred
Good organizational skills and time management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent listening skills
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Knowledge of relevant computer applications
Product knowledge

Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds or force frequently,
and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
