Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of construction management processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases of construction.
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of the construction process, including subcontractors, suppliers, and labor.
- Review and interpret blueprints and project specifications to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Utilize construction management software such as HeavyBid for project tracking and reporting.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Prepare and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Facilitate communication between all stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, and team members.
- Implement project management best practices to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on construction processes and software tools like Bluebeam.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project management or estimation
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in heavy construction
- Excellent communication skills
