Position Summary

Move parts to different departments, physically split castings, serialize castings and put in order, return certificates and cards back to inspectors. X-ray castings according to approved technique. Verify operations, quantity, serial numbers, and heat number. Adhere to the department's work instruction manuals and customer specifications.

Pay Rate : $17.50 - $18.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :

Utilizing the computer system for verifying operations and quantities. Conducting physical checks of serial numbers during the serialization of castings or separation processes. Adhering to instructions from the manager, supervisor, and team leader. Maintaining effective communication. Participating in training for X-ray Level I.

In carrying out job responsibilities, employees are typically required to stand, walk, operate a dolly, and engage in tasks that require the use of their hands. Additionally, employees should be able to stoop, kneel, or crouch and frequently lift or move items weighing up to 35 pounds.

Visual requirements specify that employees must have a distance vision of 20 / 25 in at least one eye, with or without correction. Near vision should meet at least Jaeger No. 1 or an equivalent standard at a distance of no less than 16 inches with one eye, either naturally or with correction. The ability to distinguish between colors is also essential.
