We are seeking candidates for a full-time position in the Cabinet-Fabrication shop. You would be responsible for cutting and preparing components of cabinets and interior trim pieces for a specialty manufacturer in the automotive industry. Prior experience in like industries is preferred. Experience with cabinets, carpentry, and upholstery is very helpful. Must have a good working knowledge of standard hand tools, measuring devices, and hand power tools. Helpful to have some experience and understanding with assembly work and working with finish materials such as laminate, vinyl, and upholstery.
Willing to train the right eager, responsible, well-suited candidate.
This is a permanent, full-time position. Paid vacation time, six paid major holidays, and a 4-day work week. (Monday - Thursday) This is a drug free workplace. Justice involved candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Job Responsibilities:
· Cut and prepare cabinet components, making sure that all pieces fit the dimensions specified by the supervisor and client
· Verify and double-check all calculations to ensure alignment of installed components, outlets and devices, always using blueprints or design plans for reference
· Be exact in measurements and markings so that materials will be used efficiently and the projects will meet budgetary restrictions
· Maintain a safe and efficient working environment
· Work with a team to assemble entire products or components
· Rotate through tasks for specific production processes
· Conduct quality inspections on products and parts
Job Skills & Qualifications
· Knowledge of all equipment necessary for your work, including handsaws, table saws, routers, planers, and a variety of drills and other woodworking related tools and equipment.
· Experience with plastic laminate and solid surface materials (such as Formica) and their fabrication is helpful.
· Understanding of necessary mathematics
· Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields
· Knowledge of materials and processing
· Ability to handle physical workload
· Applicable design skills
· Attention to detail
· Ability to work well in teams
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
