Job Summary :
Support aerial operations. Assist in preparing the work site, securing equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Key Responsibilities :
Equipment management : Inspect, load, and maintain ground equipment and ensure aerial equipment is ready for use
Safety : Adhere to safety standards, monitor weather conditions, and communicate with the crew to ensure safe operations
Site prep & cleanup : Clear debris, set up safety barriers, and assist with post-operation cleanup
Communication and coordination : Act as a liaison between ground and aerial teams to ensure smooth operations
Maintenance and inventory : Perform routine equipment checks and ensure tools and safety gear are in good condition
Install ground rods and anchors using pounding equipment.
Assist in pulling aerial and underground cables through new or existing conduits.
Prepare and set up job sites, including placing proper signage, cones, and barricades to ensure safety.
Participate in additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to support project completion.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (experience in construction or aerial work a plus)
Knowledge of safety protocols and ground equipment
Physical fitness and ability to work at heights
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to travel
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
